Dear Club Officer

During a Zoom call last week with sports governing bodies at the request of NI Sports Forum members it was agreed to send a survey out to request further information from NGB’s, umbrella bodies and clubs on the financial impacts of Covid-19.   

The rationale of this request from our members was to inform the NI Executive of the updated hardships facing your organisations. This afternoon, Finance Minister Conor Murphy indicated an additional £2m will be allocated to the Department for Communities for resilience in the sporting sector. Many of your governing bodies outlined how it is vitally important for you as clubs to provide an updated financial assessment of Covid-19 

CLUBS SURVEY

We appreciate that Sport NI have, and continue to gather substantial information in order to understand your needs and inform their support programmes also which continue to be vital to the sector however we ask that you take some time to complete this survey.

Summary information of this survey will be shared with Sport NI and the Department for Communities to further outline the financial needs of your organisation however no information on individual organisations will be shared without further permission from that organisations

We ask that you complete this survey by Wednesday 8th July at 5pm.
